Administrative Core provides an administrative infrastructure
that allows efficient communication between all Projects,
Cores, Committees, and Participating Investigators of the
project. This core provides overall leadership and administrative
support to the projects and core, and assists in tracking
the progress of each project in achieving the program goals.
In addition, the Administrative Core arranges regular meetings
of the participating investigators and Advisory committees.
administrative core will provide the following administrative
and management tasks:
Aim 1: To provide planning and coordination
of research activities
The administrative core coordinates the three research projects
and the technical research core through regularly scheduled
program meetings with the project leader and the core director
to monitor the progress made and the overall direction of
the program. To promote interaction between projects, the
core will coordinate research progress meetings, seminars
and colloquia between members of the program.
Aim 2: To provide oversight of fiscal and resource
The administrative core provides the financial management of
all accounts and, in conjunction with the executive committee,
will allocate resource and beam time based on progress and genuine

The administrative core coordinates annual on-site meeting
with members of the external advisory committee and an additional
teleconference call every six months. The executive committee
will meet formally once a month to review the overall program
External Advisory Committee:
external advisory committee consists of five members and meets
formerly once a year. Informally, they provide advice and
program guidance on a regular basis. The current members are:
